Splits are recorded, not collected. People pay each other however they already do, and you mark it received. There is no balance here, nothing to withdraw, and no cut taken from what your party costs.

Is Eventrie really free?
Yes, for a whole real party. The itinerary, the guest list, RSVPs, budget splits, notes and reminders are all free, and nothing asks for a card to get started. You will not hit a wall halfway through planning.
What costs money?
The heavy tools — very large guest lists, the full design studio, and printed albums. If you never touch those, you never pay.
How much is the paid tier?
It is not priced yet, and we would rather say that than put up a number we might change. Nothing in the free tier is going to start costing money without warning.
Do my guests pay anything?
No, and they never will. Guests open a link in a browser, RSVP and see the plan — no account, no app, no payment.
Does Eventrie take a cut of what we spend?
No. No money moves through Eventrie at all. Splits are recorded, not collected — people pay each other however they already do, and you mark it received.
